Man on probation faces new set of charges

A Qualicum Beach man is in custody and facing charges after a homeowner allegedly interrupted him during a break and enter.
Oceanside RCMP Corporal Garry Cox said the man returned to his Widgeon Road home in Qualicum Beach just before 1 p.m. on Wednesday and found a man inside his house.
"He apprehended him until police arrived,"Cox said. "The male is well-known to police and was presently out on a previous charge of break and enter and breach of probation.
"He also has outstanding charges of break and enter of a dwelling, disobeying a court order, failure to comply with a probation order and is presently on three probation orders from the courts."
Charged is Kyle Patrick McGuire, 18, from QB.
