United Way launches campaign

NANAIMO - Everybody needs some caring.
The United Way Central Island is running a Days of Caring campaign, which pairs businesses with social agencies to spruce up properties.
The United Way connects businesses with non profit social agencies to volunteer painting, landscaping, power washing and general property cleaning and maintenance in July and August.
The agency supplies the equipment, as well as snacks or lunch, while the business gets to see how non profit organizations work and team build.
